Finally, the sleeping beast awakens!

So during all of my "OnLive" excitement I failed to see that something else equally exciting was also revealed during the GDC. There's a little known game currently known as "Project Offset" that I've been anxiously waiting for. This "epic fantasy first person shooter" has been in development forever it seems and has undergone alot of changes including being acquired by Intel. The Intel turnover happened a year ago and since then there's been absolutely no news coming from the team. The games homepage wasn't even accessible. Until this last week! The spark is back!

Below is one of the two videos released this week. (This is all "gameplay")

This other video is a bunch of the older clips released quite a while ago.

The only thing that could make this game any more exciting is if (a successful) "OnLive" paired up!

'OnLive', The Destroyer of Lame.

Today my video game playing mind was blown.
I just got done watching the live press conference for a ground breaking new video game service (virtually console) called 'OnLive'.
Picture yourself playing the most up to date PC game, super smooth on a simple entry level computer. Now picture playing this game on an entry level Mac...now picture playing on a PC vs. someone on a Mac.....and also on a TV......
........yeah.
This new service takes up only 1mb of your hd space...
The only thing required is a highspeed internet connection. Everything else is done seamlessly online.
And there is so much more with endless possibilities...
Below is the link to the press conference and the official site.

Rabbit the rat and Mac the ass.

We have a new family member! No, Emily has not given birth... Stop it.

Emily's birthday was last Friday and to celebrate we went to Petsmart and came home with a baby dumbo rat. The name is Rabbit.

As for the assy Mac, it's happened again. Emily's Macbook has apparently burnt out a second hard drive. A second hard drive that we JUST got literally 3 months ago. C'mon! Stupid terrorists...
