The move draws near.

That's right.
By May 1st Emily and I will no longer be residents of The Fort.
We've been given an awesome opportunity to live out in the country in a brand spanking new house close to home. Some of our good friends have a great deal of land. However this land and everything on it is frequently left unattended due to their busy travel lifestyle. So we were approached by these said Friends a few weeks ago with this amazing offer. They will build a brand new house on their property for us to rent, provide super cheap overall living expenses, and even allow our help during the building process to go towards the already super cheap expenses. All they require from us is basically our eyes and ears (sometimes hands) during the times they're away.
Needless to say Emily and I are pretty excited.
We'll be able to finally start saving money. Plus this gives Emily an opportunity to pursue a nursing Career.
This last Saturday was our first construction day. A got a sunburn and a blister.

The construction was great. a few days later it snowed a foot.....so we have yet to have a second work day. More pictures coming as soon as April decides to be April.

That's pretty cool. It's like going onto a game show and finding out you win a house just for being on the show and in fact the object of the show is to build the most awesome house possible.

You should design your house so that, from space, it resembles the Xbox logo. Or a picture of David Bowie. Either one.
